Hi all, looking forward to seeing you all at the skylark on saturday hope that a few of you will be there, been so busy of late that it will be nice to be on home ground with local friends. Dont seem to have spent much time at home these days lots of exhibitions booked so not even a chance of a holiday away from darts. kate was looking forward to going somewhere nice this august but no chance you can not turn down work when it comes in. Anyway see you all on saturday.

Hi all, Hope you are all keeping well and practising those darts. I am keeping very busy practising and taking a bit of time out as well to play golf just to give my brain something else to focus on. Looking forward to the uk open at the begining of june, John Part is coming over to practice with me for a couple of days beforehand so that should be good. Hope some of you are going to see vice/versa next wednesday should be a good nite. Had my new shirts from Roger the logo on the back is much clearer and have had the square cut one so it is a lot more cumfy. Got a few weekend events and exhibitions over the next couple of weeks so will give me good comp. practice before bolton. Won one in Tamworth a couple of weeks ago. good but a long day. See you all soon

Hi all yes its me The Hammer, sorry for not being in touch for a while but things have been a bit hectic for me and i have not been in a good place with my darts. However i am back to full confidence after this weekend in taunton. Sunday i reached the final against phil after seeing of dennis ovens, ronnie baxter, van gerwyn, micheal barnard and wayne jones, there was some tuff games along the way but i never gave up and came out the other end feeling really good and i played some great darts. Iknow i lost 6 o to phil but what can you do against an 120 average i had 109 myself and did not get a chance at a double. Hopefully my return to form has come at the right time for the tv events and can have a good run in them. Thank you all for your continued support it means a lot to me. Andy

Hi all , well what can i say it was an absolutly a brilliant day, im knackered but pleased with our achievement. For those of you that could not be there at the finish everyone seemed to have a second wind and all were on the boards for the final countdown, what stars. Jake, the youngest of the players made it through to sunday mid day ( he did kip behind the pillar for a while and missed breakfast ) but well done to him i see a lad with a great future in darts keep up the practice lad. The amount of money raised before the sponsership comes in was £595 what a great start. The Raffle was drawn sorry that it was done a bit late but with Mick having to rush of b ecause of his dad we had to do a few jobs before we drew the raffle but all the numbers have been displayed in the pub along with the names there was only one claimed on the night and there is one with no name if i remember right it is a yellow strip starting with no 11 so get checking. Also a ladies small black handback was found on one of the tables at the top end of the room that is behind the bar for collection along with an empty dart case. A big thanks to everyone that took part and i look forward to the next one, but let me catch up on some sleep first im knackered. Again a BIG THANKS.

Well the credit crunch has hit the darts, tote sport who sponser about six players ( including me ) has pulled out what a blow, need to find another one now, we need sponsers to help pay for entry fees hotels and travelling as with 40 odd events a year it does get expensive.

Hi all, sorry but have not had time to update the site as have had a very bad start to new year. we have been burgled, window smashed at pub then to top it all the trains to london were not running yesterday for us to get to the dorchester for the awards dinner, we had to drive down what a bloody nitemare driving through central london, still we got there and had a good evening. I am not going to dwell on the world champs only to say i was happy with the way i played, put it all behind and get on with playing well this year starting in doncaster this weekend. We may have had a bad start these things happen, but we have got the three out of the way so am positive that things will only improve. Thanks for all your support in 2008 and lets all have a good 2009 happy new year to you all.

Hi all,
good day practice yesterday with adie lewis, chris mason and david fatum from america, did a few hours of finishes to make sure we are hitting them, ( of course we are ).
Getting very excited now as the worlds draw closer and had my confidence boosted when read in the sun that alan warriner tipped me as a player to watch along with alan tabern merv king and robert thornton, ( nothing like a bit of free publicity ).
All packed and ready to go on friday morning, got my new shirts, i am launching a new one at the worlds and will be available to buy in the new year via this website. Just short blog today kate is cracking the whip and telling me to get back work, thats what we call my practice sessions. see ya

Hi everyone, here i go attempting my first blog. Well the only thing to talk about at the moment has got to be The World Championships. I have been practicing really hard over the past few weeks with Adie Lewis, four hours in the afternoon then playing at night as well. I am really looking forward to going down to the ally pally on friday and will go to watch some of the first games to soak up the atmosphere before my game with Micheal Barnard on sunday, ( 7 10pm sunday night ), only ever played him once before and that was 4 years ago when i first came onto the circuit so cannot say to much about how the game will be except that i am going to win. It is great having this site to be able to keep you all informed about how things are progressing with my darts. My day usually starts at around 8 in the morning,( my wife kate never lets me sleep in late ) breakfast, then now and then we have to go to our pub the skylark to see if everything is okay there. Shopping, home for lunch then out to practice for a few hours, back for tea then i usually play for local or super leagues during the week to keep my hand in competition wise. Well thats all for now thank you all for your support and keep up your shouting for the hammer over the next couple of weeks.
